Intellectual Property Law Workshop: A conversation about the legal issues that can arise from creative processes – both inward and outward facing. Topics such as copyright/fair use, trademark, privacy/publicity, defamation and general contract issues.

Tami Morachnick advises creators and producers on a wide range of legal issues that arise in the process of creating content. She spent 7 years in HBO’s Film Acquisitions department, and over 13 years at MTV as Vice President and Senior Counsel. Current clients include content creators at Google/YouTube.

Advanced registration for this event is 30 people. Additional attendees will be let in off of a wait list space permitting. All workshop groups will meet in the lobby of the CUNY Graduate Center 10-15 minutes before the workshop begins. An usher will be there to guide you to the event space.
